What they say about him…

I met Guido in Sardinia in 2000, during one of the Primatist races organized by the great Bruno Abbate. The first experience on his two-seater hull was on lake Iseo, when he made the world speed record on water. Created to allow a “guest” experience the speed- thrill, the racing catamaran was very similar to his F.1 one. It was an incredible experience! I had never imagined reaching 180 per hour on the water, with peaks of 200! It was crazy, and since that day I have been one of Guido’s sponsors, for the conquest of a new World Speed Record in the UIM World F. 1 Championship and later in the Offshore races, after he finished his winning career in F.1.Guido is a great driver and above all a great person. I particularly like his humility, he doesn’t boast absolutely, despite being a number one. As a builder, he was able to create hulls that are jewels of technology and human genius, thank also to a team of extraordinary people, who have always been with him, having the same inventiveness, humility, desire to build and passion. So the results arrived: they are all well deserved. As a person from “Brianza”, Guido is a source of pride for me: the “Laghèe”, who are those born on the Como Lake, were theoretically stronger than us regarding the boats. With Guido, we overcame them! I say it smiling, it is an ancient rivalry… the only thing I’m very sorry about is not having sponsored Guido in his last  F. 1  World championship, the one of his tenth title. Now, that boat is the only one in the Monaco Top Car Collection of Prince Alberto, and I regret  my brand is not on the hull that entered the powerboating history!Having said that, I owe my thanks to Guido for inspiring me with the passion to go fast on the water: first I had a boat but much “slower”! My new boat is a 65 foot yacht and it reaches 57 knots: to go like this is a great satisfaction!
